My Furtive Father Winter 2013 Gift!

Hopefully everyone's had a brilliant Winter Veil so far. Following Christmas with my family I checked my emails yesterday to find that I had received my FFW gift - which was very exciting - and it was from none other than Akabeko Runetotem of Red Cow Rise.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's what Aka said in the email...
Surprise! You're my FFW person :) I've always really liked the name of your blog, because Azeroth is a really lovely place that has plenty of beautiful scenery to admire. I also enjoy your screenshots immensely. Because of that, and in honor of you being a draenei, I decided to showcase the draenei starting zone! If only there had been a way to take a screenshot of that relaxing woodwind zone music...
Happy Winter Veil! ;)
WoW-Craft: Cross-Stitch Alliance Lion
Back in May I posted about my ongoing WoW-Craft project - the Alliance Lion logo in cross-stitch. I confess that this project has taken me a lot longer than I had anticipated, for a couple of reasons. Normally with cross-stitch you don't have a background colour so having the blue background added a lot of time to it. Plus I'll admit I've been going through phases of working really hard on this project and then getting distracted etc. I finished it a couple of weeks ago and spent last night backing it with felt ready to give to the boyfriend today (today is our mini Christmas complete with turkey before we head back to our respective parents for the 25th).
Below are some pictures that I took throughout the crafting process :)
It's started to look like a lion...
The first bit of blue.
The finished product!
Seasons Greetings!
Following this weeks Friday-Fun-Run.
It's been nearly two weeks since I last posted and for the past few months I've been pretty crappy at posting regularly. Work has really picked up so I've been rather busy, away at a meetings etc.
Despite not being overly present within the blogging-world I have been keeping up to date with the latest WoW news and reading other peoples blogs. I've just been having to prioritise my time and the little in-game time I've had hasn't inspired much news for the blogging world to read!
But... I now have two weeks off and don't return to work until the 6th January 2014. Yayyy!! Tomorrow I am heading back to my parents for a week-ish of festivities and the internet there is pretty poor (compared to my lovely fibre optic) so I can't promise I'll be on much more than I have been these past few weeks. Having said that I will be spending the second week at my own home where the internets much better and I can get my geek on with lots of gaming.
Anyhow, I'd like to wish you all a very happy Feast of Winter Veil and hope you manage to get the new pet (Rotten Little Helper) etc. etc.
#IntPiPoMo 2013 #7: Vashj'ir
Having got my druid to level 80 I took her into Vashj'ir. Personally I love the underwater world that Vash is but I do not like the 3D nature of it and find it confussing. Hence I normally avoid it. But there is one major bonus of going as a druid - aquatic form plus thus the movement buff means you move very fast!!
To battle...
 IntPiPoMo Progress: 50/50
So this concludes my efforts for IntPiPoMo this year - until November 2014!!
Also a massive thank you to everyone that took part this year :)
Tabard of the Hand Transmog!
Samaramon has set a transmog challenge to create a 'mog to go with the Tabard of the Hand. This particular tabard is a reward for The Unwritten Prophecy quest and for some reason I don't seem to have it despite completeing the Draenei starting area quests. Anyway, I wasn't going to be defeated and as I've been playing and leveling my druid a lot decided to create a leather 'mog.
I'm back with #IntPiPoMo 2013 #6: Some Delights of Dalaran
This past weekend I was away at my parents house for my mums 60th birthday. I had intended to blog on Friday but in the end I decided to travel to my parents straight from work as I was working away mid-way between my home and theirs. As a result I wasn't able to complete #IntPiPoMo in November but I'm not going to give up that easily...
IntPiPoMo Progress: 40/50
I wanted to do Dalaran for two reasons - firstly I love the city but secondly to celebrate my druid reaching level 80 and moving into the Cata zones. The last 10 IntPiPoMo screenshots will be from there.
